CW Pixie Dust

It's a dream...it's a fantasy...it just can't be true...can it?

Lisa singing the title song for "Tinker Bell - The Lost Treasure" combined with Mairead playing her violin solo. Can it be true?? I know they are angels, but can they be fairies too??

They have to be, because they make all my wishes come true!!

Oh, oh...now I'm imagining Lisa as Tinker Bell...

Yes, our Celtic Woman are leaving the rest in their pixie dust!!

Dancing With the Angels

Q: Since when did "Dancing with the Stars" become "Dancing with the Angels"???

A: Since the Celtic Woman made an appearance there last night!

If any (or all) of these thoughts crossed your mind last night, you're Celtic Woman crazy...

You wished the dancers would've moved to one side, because they were blocking Lisa & Chloe.

You looked frantically for the number to call in on to vote for them, so they wouldn't get voted off on the next show.

You then wondered how you could ever vote for ONLY Lisa, Chloe, Mairead, Lynn, or Alex.

You then breathed a sigh of relief when you realize you don't need to.

You were then disappointed that the Celtic Woman's appearance was so short.

You then put in one of your Celtic Woman DVDs and watched that.

While watching the DVD, you entertain the thought of a "Dancing with the Celtic Woman" show.

You know you'd be the first in line at the audition if they did.

Even though the only thing you know about the Salsa is that it goes well with nachos.

And Tango is that guy on Ghost Hunters.

But you can do the Hand Jive from Grease with the best of 'em.

And the Twist.

You rewind the last five minutes of the DVD because your mind wandered off there.

You apologize to Mairead on the TV screen, vowing that wandering off won't happen again. And it doesn't the rest of the evening.

A Blessed Easter

Blessed Easter!! Christ Is Risen!! Alleluia!!

Pondering what it would've been like if the Celtic Woman were at that first Easter...

Lisa Ponderings

More ponderings on Lisa as Sandy in "Grease"...

Some of the other songs would have to be reworded too...like this one...which would now have to be sung by Danny...

(Sung to the melody of: "There Are Worse Things I Could Do")

There are worse things I could do, than love anyone but you
Even though that Rydell High thinks I'm now as sweet as pie
I suppose it could be true, but there are worse things I could do...
I could act tough with all the guys, deny our love with veil of lies
Have the chicks think I'm really cool, make them think I'm no one's fool
And tease a girl or two, those are things I will not do...

I want you here every night, for this is real, and this is right
I'll face the jeering every day, the wise-cracks which come my way
For you're my dream that has come true...
You will never hear from me, words of spite or jealousy
With you, I am alive, if you leave me, I will die
In fact, I'll tell you true, if I heard "Good-bye" from you
That's the worst thing you could do!

Lovely Lisa

I read that Lisa Kelly starred as Sandy in Grease...

Can you picture that?? Let's see if I can...

Isn't Photoshop great...

I don't know...if Lisa was Sandy, I just can't imagine any guy singing about an old clunker on wheels rather than this angel...you know...

(Sung to the melody of: "Greased Lightning")

Danny: Lisa is a dream, she's my one and only choice, oh yeah...
T-Birds: Keep talkin', please keep talkin'!
Danny: Incredibly pretty, and with the matching voice, oh yeah...
T-Birds: Can't wait to see her, you just can't wait to see her!
Danny: I'll be collapsin' to the floor, but I'll be waitin' there for more
You know it ain't no lie 'cause without her I will die - Lisa Kelly!

Danny: Sweet Lisa Kelly, the beauty of the Celtic Isle...
T-Birds: Lisa Kelly, sweet Lisa Kelly!
Danny: Sweet Lisa Kelly, and her angel's voice and smile...
T-Birds: Lisa Kelly, sweet Lisa Kelly!
Danny: She is supreme, she is my dream, Lisa Kelly!

Another Song for the Angels

Yes, yet another song...and this one in parts for each angel...

(Sung to the melody of: "Fairytopia")

All: Oh what a night, spotlights are shining
All await what this show will bring
The stage is set, the crowd is ready
What a wonderful night to sing...
Lisa: What shall I sing?
Alex: How 'bout "The Blessing"?
Then "The Voice" and "Caledonia"...
Chloe: What should I sing?
Lynn: How 'bout "The Prayer" and "Nella Fantasia"?
All: We're singing!
Mairead is fiddling 'cross the stage, she's such a sight to see
Dancing and gliding through the air...
Mairead: That's me!

Lisa: (spoken) "Sing out"!
Chloe: (spoken) "At the Ceili"!

Alex: I'll sing to that...
Lynn: Let's do a duet...
Alex: Of "Spanish Lady"?
Lynn: "Oronico Flow"!
Lisa: I'll join you both, and also Chloe...
Chloe: La-de-da-da...
All: We're singing!
Whirling and twirling 'cross the stage, you'd swear Mairead can fly
She's got the grace of an angel...
Mairead: On high.

Lynn: (spoken) "Carolina Rua"!
Alex: (spoken) "True Colors"!

All: Welcome to our Isle of Hope, this is a great place to be
Ask any loyal fan here and they'll agree
Where else do angels sing harmonies which are loved by all?
Chloe: Like "Danny Boy" or "Dulaman"...
Lisa: Or "The Call".

Chloe: (spoken) So what follows "The Last Rose of Summer"?
Lisa: (spoken) The dance of the leaves when the autumn winds blow?

All: "Mo Ghile Mear" also "The Sky and the Dawn and the Sun"
Is there a melody we can't sing?
Mairead: Well, I can't think of one.

Crazy about Celtic Woman

You know you're obsessed with Celtic Woman...

When you have a whole wall (or worse yet, room) in your house with just Celtic Woman stuff.

When you listen to a song sung by another singer (yes, the atrocity of it!), you think about which of the Celtic Woman would sing that song.

You dedicate a whole blog to them. (Guilty as charged!)

When you know the birthdays of all the Celtic Woman, but you have no clue when your own family's birthdays are.

You've named your five daughters Lisa, Chloe, Mairead, Lynn, and Alex. (And you have your little "Mairead" going to fiddle lessons...five days a week...at three weeks old.)

You've named your five SONS Lisa, Chloe, Mairead, Lynn, and Alex.

You have your children do impromptu versions of Celtic Woman songs...sometimes at rather strange places...like the grocery store...kind of like this...

(Sung to the melody of: "Oronico Flow")

What's on sale, what's on sale, down here at the grocery store?
Here's the meat, here's the meat, better make sure that it's lean
What's on sale, what's on sale, get their flyer at the door
Where's the peas, where's the peas? They're next to the yellow beans...

Sale today, sale today, sale today. Sale today, sale today, sale today.
Sale today, sale today, sale today. Sale today, sale today, sale today.

Aisle one, hot dog buns, should we take before they're gone?
No instead, pick up bread. Should we pick up two...or three?
And the line for the deli is just way too long
Where's the toothpaste and the soap? They're both in aisle three..

Sale today, sale today, sale today. Sale today, sale today, sale today.
Sale today, sale today, sale today. Sale today, sale today, sale today.

Pick up milk, pick up eggs...my word, it's almost noon
Look at the checkout line, hope we can get out soon
How many items in our cart? Do we have less than ten?
Don't tell me that you left the coupons home again?

What's on sale, what's on sale, down here at the grocery store?
What's on sale, what's on sale, sale today, sale today, sale today.

Captivating Chloe

Of course...the gorgeous Chloe likewise needs a song about her...

(Sung to the melody of: "Lord of the Dance")

She sang in the morning when the new day begun
And she sang of The Sky and the Dawn and the Sun
She's an angel from heaven who has come down to earth
And her first stage appearance was four weeks from her birth...

Sing Out, so sweet you sang to me
You are the angel of The Prayer, Chloe
And she wows us all, wherever we shall be
And she'll be Walking In The Air, sang she.

Chloe has a voice like an angel on high
She has a passion that'll never, ever die
And she'll Raise Me Up for I know that she -
She is Walking In The Air, Chloe...

Sing Out, so sweet you sang to me
You are the angel of The Prayer, Chloe
And she wows us all, wherever we shall be
And she'll be Walking In The Air, sang she.

The Fairy in White

Now it's time to give beautiful Mairead her due in this blog...
(And her own song)...

(Sung to the melody of: "Lady in Red")

I've never seen her look so gorgeous as she did that night
I've never seen Mairead shine so bright, she was amazing
I've never seen so many people stare like an awestruck child
And when she looked at me and smiled, she just blew me away
And I have never had such a feeling
Such a feeling of complete and utter awe, as I did that night...

The fairy in white is dancing with glee, step by step
For all of us here, she's a sight to see
Her grace and beauty
I just stared in wonder when Mairead fiddled bright
I'll never forget the way she played that night...

I never will forget the way she played that night...
The fairy in white, the fairy in white...
The fairy in white, the fairy in white.

Poetry in Motion

Lisa Kelly IS poetry in motion...

(Sung to the melody of: "Brush Up Your Shakespeare")

Us guys today in society
Crave for beautiful harmony
So to win our hearts one must sing with ease
"Mo Ghile Mear" and "Beyond the Sea"
One must know Mairead and Chloe
Alex, Lynn, and Lisa, you see
If you don't see their Isle of Hope
Everyone else will call you a dope
And the greatest of them all
And The Voice you'll hear At the Ceili
Is the woman we all hail
As the angel who's named Lisa Kelly...

Hear Lisa Kelly, let her sing to you now
Hear Lisa Kelly, and she'll be sure to wow...

Her talent you will start confessing
When she sings May It Be and The Blessing
The Voice is Lisa's above all
And Caledonia you'll hear The Call
And could there be as sweet a sound
Than when it's Green the Whole Year Round?
Hear Lisa Kelly, and you'll sure bow down.

Hear Lisa Kelly, let her sing to you now
Hear Lisa Kelly, and she'll be sure to wow...

As the Oroinoco Flow goes along
I'll ask Lisa if she'd Send Me A Song
Somewhere a Spanish Lady awaits one
Beyond The Sky And The Dawn And The Sun
I'll Sing Out to this One World with glee
When You Raise Me Up with harmony
Hear Lisa Kelly, and you'll sure bow down.

Lisa In Boston

Lisa Kelly and the rest of the "Celtic Woman" were in Boston last weekend...

What was Lisa like?? The only way to describe her is in song...

(Sung to the melody of: "Little Drummer Boy")

We just had to see, pa rum pum pum pum
This angel of beauty, pa rum pum pum pum
Her wond'rous voice does ring, pa rum pum pum pum
With every note she sings, pa rum pum pum pum
Rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum
We must cherish her, pa rum pum pum pum
When we come.

Lisa Kelly, pa rum pum pum pum
I'm just a loyal fan, pa rum pum pum pum
No one else can compare, pa rum pum pum pum
Forgive my awestruck stare, pa rum pum pum pum
Rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum
Will you sing to me, pa rum pum pum pum
When I come?

Mairead fiddled, pa rum pum pum pum
Alex and Lynn were prime, pa rum pum pum pum
Chloe was sensational, pa rum pum pum pum
But Lisa was best of all, pa rum pum pum pum
Rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum...

Then she smiled at me, pa rum pum pum pum
My heart went numb.

I know, I know...it's nine months until Christmas...

But when you see and hear so many beautiful angels, it seems like Christmas...

Correction...it IS Christmas!!

The Prelude

And so the story begins...

Never thought I'd ever create a blog...

Never thought I'd have anything to blog about...

Never thought a singer or group would ever inspire me so...

Never say never...

There's always hope...or more specifically...an Isle of Hope...
